CÁCH SỬ DỤNG GIỚI TỪ TIẾNG ANH

I. KHÁI NIỆM VÀ NGUYÊN TẮC SỬ DỤNG GIỚI TỪ

1. Giới từ bỏ là gì?

Trong ngữ pháp, giới từ (preposition) là một phần tử lời nói giới thiệu, giới từ bỏ được để vào câu sẽ chỉ ra rằng mối quan tiền hệ một trong những điều được kể trong câu ấy.

Ví dụ, vào câu “The mèo sleeps on the sofa” (Con mèo ngủ bên trên ghế sofa), tự “on” là 1 trong những giới từ, trình làng 1 danh từ thứ hai có vào câu “on the sofa”

2. Nguyên tắc áp dụng giới từ

Vị trí của giới từ: Giới từ gồm vị trí đứng riêng của bản thân trong câu, dưới đó là vị trí của một số giới trường đoản cú cơ phiên bản trong giờ đồng hồ Anh

Trước danh từ:

In the morning: Vào buổi sáng

On Monday: Vào đồ vật 2

Sau hễ từ:

Có thể ngay tức thì sau động từ, hoàn toàn có thể bị 1 từ không giống chen giữa động từ cùng giới từ

+ The book is on the table = Quyển sách ngơi nghỉ trên bàn.

+ I live in Ho đưa ra Minh đô thị = Tôi sinh sống ở tp Hồ Chí Minh.

+ He picked me up (from the airport) yesterday = Anh ấy đã đưa tôi lên ( từ sảnh bay) ngày hôm qua

Sau tính từ:

+ I’m not worried about living in a foreign country = Tôi không lo ngại về việc sống ngơi nghỉ nước ngoài.

+ He is not angry with you = Anh ấy ko giận bạn.

II. MỘT SỐ GIỚI TỪ THƯỜNG GẶP VÀ NHỮNG ĐIỀU CẦN CHÚ Ý

Trước đó ta chạm mặt : worry about : băn khoăn lo lắng về

Lần sau gặp chữ : discuss _____ (thảo luận về) cố là ta suy ra từ câu trên cơ mà điền about vào, vắt là sai.

Trước đó ta chạm chán : in the morning

Thế là khi chạm mặt : ___ a cold winter morning, thấy morning nên chọn lựa ngay in => không nên (đúng ra phải dùng on )

Tiếng Việt nói: kế hoạch sự với ai; buộc phải khi gặp gỡ : polite (lịch sự ) liền dùng ngay with ( cùng với ) => buộc phải thay bằng từ: important (quan trọng) với/ đối với

Quy tắc hình tam giác được biết tới như là 1 trong những quy tắc góp ghi ghi nhớ cách dùng giới trường đoản cú in, on, at và cách thực hiện của chúng.

Ba giới từ bỏ chỉ thời gian, vị trí "in", "on", "at" rất dễ khiến cho nhầm lẫn. Luật lệ hình phễu được tương đối nhiều người sử dụng sẽ giúp bạn xử lý vấn đề này. Tưởng tượng cách thực hiện "in","on"", "at" như 1 tam giác ngược, hoặc cái phếu. Cái phễu này lọc dần các cụm tự chỉ thời gian, vị trí với quy tắc giảm dần mức độ phổ biến chung, tăng dần đều mức độ rứa thể.

To duy nhất của phễu là dành riêng cho giới trường đoản cú in - chỉ đều thứ mập nhất, bình thường chung nhất. Với thời gian, "in" cần sử dụng trước số đông từ chỉ thời hạn khái quát tuyệt nhất như "century" (thế kỷ) cho tới "week" (tuần).

Ví dụ: in the 20th century, in the 1980’s, in March, in the third week of April, in the future.

Ngoại lệ: in + buổi: in the morning, in the evening, in the afternoon

Về địa điểm, "in" sử dụng cho những địa điểm lớn như country (quốc gia), cho đến village, neighborhoods (làng, vùng).

Ví dụ: In the United States, in Miami, in my neighborhood. "In" dùng thời gian từ bình thường nhất cho tới week (tuần), địa điểm từ tầm thường nhất cho đến thị trấn, thôn xóm bên cạnh in the morning, afternoon, evening.

Phần thân của phễu dành cho "on", tương xứng với địa điểm rõ ràng hơn, thời gian cụ thể hơn đối với ""in". Về thời gian, "on" dùng cho ngày cầm cố thể, hoặc một thời gian nào đó.

Ví dụ: on my birthday, on Saturday, on the weekend (United States), on June 8th.

Ngoại lệ: on my lunch break. Về địa điểm, "on" cần sử dụng cho một vùng kha khá dài, rộng lớn như đường phố, bãi biển...

Ví dụ: on Broadway Street, on the beach, on my street.

Phần chóp phễu, tương xứng với thời gian địa điểm ví dụ nhất, giành cho giới trường đoản cú "at". Về thời gian, "at" sử dụng cho mốc thời gian cụ thể, thời điểm, khoảnh khắc.

Ví dụ: at 9:00 PM, at lunch, at dinner, at the start of the party, at sunrise, at the start of the movie, at the moment.

Ngoại lệ: at night. Về địa điểm, "at" cần sử dụng cho địa chỉ, vị trí cụ thể.

Ví dụ: at 345 broadway street, at the store, at my house. Như vậy, phương pháp dùng giới trường đoản cú về thời gian, địa điểm của ba giới trường đoản cú "in", "on", "at" tuân theo luật lệ hình phễu, ngoài một vài nước ngoài lệ như trên.
